EVENTS - Free onsite CAD assessment - focused on transition to MicroStation CONNECT Edition

Matrix are offering free onsite CAD assessments, with a focus on transitioning to the CONNECT Edition.

  • Is your workspace ready for migration?
  • Have you thought about how to best utilise new features?
  • Can repetitive tasks be automated?
  • What changes are required?

What will be assessed?

Your workspace configuration including:

  • user setup
  • project setup
  • cell libraries
  • text/dimension styles
  • plotting styles
  • plot sheet setup and drawing boarders
  • Project Explorer configuration.

Your training needs including:

  • understanding and utilisation of latest features
  • Bentley CONNECT personal and enterprise portals.

What happens afterwards?

You'll receive a succinct written summary of recommendations for improvements, and options and cost estimates for us to help.

NEW TECHNOLOGY - Manage product quality throughout the lifecycle of your product - Aras

Watch video: A brief look at Aras Quality Management system

The Aras®Quality Management System (QMS) applications includes Quality Planning and Quality Systems to provide organisations with comprehensive quality management capabilities. QMS enables product quality to be managed throughout the lifecycle of the product.

  • Quality Planning composes features for proactive quality management traditionally done during the product development. Planning features include failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) capabilities to manage risk, improve quality, and attain environmental, regulatory, safety, medical, and other forms of compliance. The capability allows you to use Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) to control risks and mitigate critical product risks, deploy FMEA processes to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards including TS/16949, AS9100, FDA QSR, manage libraries of critical characteristics, failure modes, effects, and control mechanisms, utilize ISO-compliant process flows to drive cross-functional collaboration, and create dashboards, scorecards, KPI metrics, and reports to track your project’s status.
  • Quality Systems addresses the challenge of quickly responding to quality issues and communicating change requirements enterprise-wide. QP includes closed-loop corrective action/preventive action (CAPA) features to accelerate identification, containment, and analysis of issues, and tracking of affected items. Identified issues are analyzed with a variety of Root Cause Analysis tools including fault tree analysis, fishbone analysis, and five whys. To ensure that issues are tracked and your teams are in the loop, QS provides 8D reporting and CAPA metrics (% closed, % due).
