Matrix, together with Bentley, are gathering users to hold regular user groups around NZ. Anyone is welcome to join regardless of whether an existing or new Bentley user. This ensures our valued user base get latest information/updates on Bentley software,plan and share ideas, and talk about their concerns.

Planning is already underway to establish Bentley Structural and Bentley Civil user groups with regular meetings for the users of Bentley’s Structural and Civil design and analysis tools.

Register for this 2-day course starting Tue 31st Jan. With over 90 man years of analysis experience in the Process, Marine, Utility, Automotive, Plastics and Bio Medical industries, this popular course focuses on practical aspects of using FEA. We've run FEA courses for over 10 years.  This is a must for those wishing to use FEA in real life applications. 

• Day 1 Quite general and gives an overview of the theorym capabilities and limitations of FEA and interpretation of FEA results. End of day 1 should see users confident creating linear elastic models and obtaining sensible results.   
• Day 2 extends and concentrates on advanced topics including buckling, dynamics, contact, heat transfer, geometric and material non-linearities. Focus is on understanding how to tackle (or avoid) more difficult analysis jobs.

Emphasis is placed on the practical aspects of developing and validating models to obtain sensible results, and ample time is given for discussion.
